Aims and Scope of the Sri Lanka Economic Journal (SLEJ)

 

Sri Lanka Economic Journal (SLEJ) is a double-blind peer-reviewed international academic journal in economics, publishing high-quality theoretical, conceptual, empirical, and review articles in economics and articles that adopt multidisciplinary approaches. The journal shall accept quantitative, qualitative and mix-method empirical work also for publishing. Book reviews shall also be accepted for publishing. The journal aims to provide an internationally renowned academic platform for researchers and scholars in economics to disseminate their research findings and scholarly contributions to a wider global audience. The journal is published biannually (two issues per year). In addition to the printed version, the journal also provides online open access to its content on the principle that making research outcomes and scholarly work freely available to the public supports the advancement of knowledge as well as the improvement of human well-being by fostering a culture of evidence-based policymaking.
