Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for Authors

  1. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow international standards and best practices in research/scholarly publications.
  2. The manuscripts must contain scientific merit and originality.
  3. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content.
  4. Articles submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed with double-blind review. The final decision on the articles will be made by the Editorial Board upon completion of the review process. However, the Editor-in-Chief of the journal has the right to reject articles that do not meet the journal guidelines, even without review.
  5. All submitted manuscripts must be original work that is not submitted to another journal or under consideration for publication in another form, such as a monograph or chapter of a book.
  6. Authors of submitted papers are obligated not to submit their paper for publication elsewhere until an editorial decision is rendered on their submission.

 

Formatting Guidelines

 

  1. Articles must have been written in English.
  2. The article shall be arranged as follows: title page, main body of the article, list of references, and appendices (if any).
  3. The title page shall contain the title of the manuscript, name/s and affiliation and contact details of the author/s, an abstract, keywords, and JEL Classification Codes.
  4. The abstract should be between 200 - 300 words long and provide a succinct summary of the article.
  5. Authors should supply 6 - 8 relevant keywords that describe the subject of the article.
  6. There should be 2 - 6 JEL classification codes.
  7. The text of the manuscript should be prepared in 11 pt type with 1-inch margins. The text should be single-spaced.
  8. All figures and tables should be cited and discussed in the article text. There is no limit to the number of figures and tables you can have. Figure legends and tables should be added at the end of the manuscript. Tables should be formatted using the ‘Insert Table’ function in Word or provided as an Excel file. For all figures, the colour mode should be RGB or grayscale.
  9. There are no strict rules on the format of mathematical scripts. However, all mathematical work should be editable.
  10. All citations and lists of references should be in APA style of referencing.
